About the Role:

The Sales Representative role will be responsible for managing the Sales function within a well-established customer network of Herron & Son in the Southwest region of Ireland.

The is a well-established sales area for the company with long standing relationships in place. The primary goal of this role is to drive revenue growth while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

The designated area of responsibility will span from Kildare to Waterford.


Requirements:

• The Sales Representative role will be responsible for the function of a well-established customer network of Herron & Son.

• Maintain and provide ongoing top-class sales support regarding product pricing, availability, and related information to our existing customer base in the Southwest region.

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively promote and represent them to cy.

• Identify and generate new sales leads by targeting existing accounts and potential business opportunities, including various sales outlets and trade channels.

• Collaborate with internal teams to determine pricing strategies for quotes, promotions, and buying groups, ensuring competitive offers are presented.

• Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers, highlighting key features and benefits.

• Align sales activities with internal marketing programs to ensure coordinated efforts and maximise results.

• Schedule monthly meetings and maintain a detailed customer call calendar to stay organised and drive business growth.

• Plan and manage a daily work schedule focused on visiting existing and potential customers, assessing their needs, and promoting relevant products and services.

• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, contributing to overall company growth and success.

• Check stock availability, pricing and generate customer orders on tablet provided to facilitate this.

• Represent the Company at any industry Trade Shows and marketing events when needed.

  •  You will report to the Sales Manager.
